'Nobody' by the Wonder Girls

After watching Grace Lee dance on TV (see: Grace Lee Scandal August update), I immediately got hooked into the song and its catchy dance moves. I then found out that it was actually a song that got famous worldwide through the internet. Watch the music video here.

Andi-9 Music Video

Andi-9 is the beautiful DJ of Magic 89.9. She used to be part of Mo Twister's morning show. Then she went away for a while but returned after some time. She now hosts the Top5@5 afternoon show. And she just released a music video for a song she did with Clean and Clear beauty products. Watch her in the new Andi-9 music video here.
I liked this music video because she still appears a little self conscious while singing. To me, it means that the whole singer-celebrity thing is not yet up in her head. Good for her and I wish for more success and more endorsements! Just don't give up radio, which was where you started and became famous. And don't make a sex tape. Don't make an Andi-9 Scandal! Contrary to the popular belief, not everybody is doing it.

The Best of Michael Jackson

Since Michael Jackson's untimely death, people have been talking more about him. I hear about him in conversations in the office, in the streets, and I also see lots of discussions about him on the internet. A tribute was even performed by the famous dancing inmates from the Philippines.

Also, more people have been interested to hear about The Best of Michael Jackson, so they have been buying more Michael Jackson albums. I discovered that in some record stores, all of their Michael Jackson albums were already sold out. My advice is, if you can't buy your favorite Michael Jackson albums from the local record bar, you can try your luck on the online stores. When buying online, you can choose between buying a CD or downloading the music as MP3.



For the casual fan, I think buying a compilation album is good enough since they already cover most of his chart topping hits. Michael Jackson has had several greatest hits albums made throughout the years. Here are some of the compilation albums available:

• The Best of Michael Jackson (Anthology Series)
• The Motown Years (3CD)
• HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I
• Number Ones
• Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection
• The Essential Michael Jackson
• King of Pop

And, as a testimony to Michael Jackson's immense talent, did you know that he already had a Greatest Hits Album made back in 1975. I saw this vinyl album on The Best of Michael Jackson for sale in Amazon. It's so amazing!


Also, according to Wikipedia, A Collection of Michael Jackson's Oldies was the first greatest hits release and it was in 1972, Who knew back then that his career has just begun?

Boys Night Out With The Speaks

After going to the Manila International Auto Show last Sunday, we went straight to the Mall of Asia to watch The Speaks Mall Tour live hosted by the "official boys of summer" the Boys Night Out of Magic 89.9.

The Speaks got to perform several songs like Ang Himig Natin and Apologize. They also sang Kaleidoscope world to pay tribute to FrancisM. Then they sang songs from their new album. Their carrier single is called Regret. Then the crowd went wild once they started to sing their greatest hit so far, High.






I got to take some pictures of the Boys Night Out With The Speaks. I even got to hang out with the Boys backstage. They were very friendly and accommodating to their fans. I must say, I hope they won't change.
