The Youtube Pope

The Youtube PopeThe Youtube Pope. What do Youtube and Pope Benedict XVI have in common?

In my previous post, Obama was called out using his Youtube account to address the public. He has been regularly doing this since he won the presidential elections.

Now, it's the Pope's turn to have his own Youtube channel. It covers the Pope's daily activities and relevant Vatican events. In 2000 years of conservative Roman Catholicism, to call this move as a radical one might be a gross understatement.

The Vatican hopes it will increase the Pope's reach and would help provide the Pope's image according to what they want.

If until now you still don't get Youtube, maybe The Pope can change your mind.
